1981

Feast at Gig Harbor - October 17

Autocrat - Lord Kylar Michael. "Feastocrat" - Lady Alexis Morgaus. Notes: This was Dragon's Laire's first event; a served feast. The event was lightly attended (about 30 people) but was great fun. We learned one valuable item at this event: Require advance ticket sales! We bought for the number of people who said they were coming, not for how many actually did, so there was a lot of food left over.

1982

Medieval Faire - May 21 to 23 - Stokes Auction near Port Orchard

This first Skirmish was with Blatha an Oir.

War With Wastekeep - August 29 to 31 - Camp Spillman at Belfair State Park

Autocrat: Hrollaugr Njálsson. Notes: The war was fought over a banner which Dragon's Laire created but which Wastekeep claimed was due them. King Torgul Bahadur and his squire led the forces of Dragon's Laire. The opposing side was led by Baron Dyon de Mantel with the assistance of a Three Mountains ally, Sir Blackhand. After much fighting and many contests it was decided that their claim was just. This was also the occasion of the infamous kissing auction. A consortium of submarine sailors bought the services of King Torgul (who was King for the first time) then had mercy on him and gave him to the ladies of An Tir to discharge his duty. The following weekend during court at September crown, Torgul was presented with a case of cherry flavored chap stick to ease his duty.
