STEP ONE

First thing is to cut your fiberglass poles into the proper lengths.  Cut 44" from each pole (this will give you approximately a 36" blade).  You should have around 25-28" left from each pole.  Take one of these shorter pieces and cut two 11" pieces from it.  These will be your quillions.

Of course, if you are merely making a Dagger, you will want to shorten the blade length equivalently.
(For example:  A 20" Dagger blade would require 2 pieces of 28" and 1 of approximately 18".)

The rest of the steps diagram instructions for a Rapier, but they can be easily applied to a Dagger once the shorter pieces are initially cut.
