Single entry bardic will also be available to those who wish to wet their feet in bardic competition.

- Napkin Folding
Greetings good Barony. I wanted to further entice you to come to Yule (not that you needed any help I am sure).
We have some really nice site tokens; beautiful red napkins. And because of this I was inspired to hold a little contest. A prize goes to the one who can most impress us with their napkin folding skills. Props such as napkin rings, silverware, etc. are welcome. I make a mean bishops hat myself. So get your folding skills sharpened. I have a very nice prize in mind that I am tempted to keep for myself. I imagine the judging will be held just before the start of feast.

Good Luck!

- Filking - This year features the return of the Yule Filk Contest! There will be a contest to make the best filk, using the tune of the Carol of the Bells (listen to a selection of MIDI versions, or see the original lyrics for Carol of the Bells).
For those who are wondering, filk songs are, in the strictest sense, folk songs with a fantasy or science fiction theme. In some cases, but by no means always, filk songs take existing songs and write new lyrics that scan to the music. For a varied list of the definitions of Filk, head over to InterFilk. You can also see past examples of filk by members of Dragon's Laire.
